I've loved music since I was a child, The first record I owned was a 78 rpm, I think it was Billy Grammer's "Gotta Travel On" or "The Hula Hoop Song" by Theresa Brewer. I used to save my allowance and on Saturday, go to the local record store to buy the number one song on the radio that week. I bulit quite a collection over the years.

In 1963, after getting a tour of a local radio station where my cousin worked, I applied for a job and was hired to work weekends and holidays at the age of 13. I had a huge library to listen to and was given the freedom to play my favorites on my weekly radio show. The show included the most popular chart toppers from the pop and country lists. That was the beginning of what became my career in broadcasting and furthered my love of music.

My home was filled with thousands of very heavy albums and lots of 45's. So, I decided to convert them all to today's best "current" technology, the MP3. That took a lot of time, but was worth it as now I can listen to my music in the home office or at work. It also means I can share them with you.

Larry's Tunes is my "Virtual Music Library" and contains over 7,400 titles. You'll find everything from disco to country and rock. All the classis hits, some tunes you may have forgotten, and I add the new songs I purchase to keep the library up-to-date. You can listen to any song or download it. Click on the title to listen, right click and "save as" to download it. Hint... the library list is sorted in alphabertically by artist and is long. Use your browser's "Find" feature to quickly search for a title or word. It will speed up your search.
